The Israeli occupation army announced the death of 5 soldiers, including a captain who was the commander of a company in the Nahal Brigade, along with 8 other soldiers from the same unit who were seriously injured during battles north of the Gaza Strip.

Earlier, the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, reported targeting 25 infantry soldiers in the Al-Shabura camp in Rafah, southern Gaza, indicating that the operation targeted 25 soldiers, resulting in casualties among them.
