Emirati media reports revealed a preliminary agreement between the Egyptian Football Association and the UAE Pro League to host the upcoming 2026 Egyptian Super Cup in the United Arab Emirates.

The agreement follows the success of the last edition held in Abu Dhabi, where Al Ahly defeated Zamalek 2-0 to claim the title. The previous edition offered prize money totaling approximately $600,000 and achieved record viewership on television and social media platforms, according to the UAE Pro League.
