Turkish Football Federation Suspends 102 Players Over Betting Scandals

The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) announced on Thursday the temporary suspension of 102 players involved in illegal betting scandals.

According to a statement by the federation, the players were referred to the Professional Disciplinary Committee, which imposed suspensions ranging from 45 days to 12 months. The sanctions include 25 players from the top division and 77 from the first division.

The decision comes amid an extensive investigation led by Turkish authorities into an illegal betting network allegedly linked to several clubs, raising growing concerns about the integrity of domestic football competitions.
