The Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) imposed sanctions on a network of companies and shipping agents involved in financing Iran’s armed forces through oil sales.
The sanctions targeted 58 entities, individuals, vessels, and aircraft across several countries as part of a campaign aimed at undermining Iran’s nuclear capabilities and its support for armed groups in the region.
Tehran has refused to allow International Atomic Energy Agency inspectors access to sites that were bombed before reaching any new agreement, according to Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi.
