Israeli forces carried out airstrikes early Thursday on areas east of Gaza City, as well as in Khan Younis and Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip, alongside the demolition of residential buildings.

Local sources said Israeli warplanes targeted the al-Tuffah neighborhood in Gaza City, while the army demolished buildings in the area, with explosions heard across large parts of the city.

In Khan Younis, the town of Bani Suhaila east of the city experienced airstrikes and building demolitions, with operations also reported in areas east of Rafah.

The same areas saw heavy fire from Israeli helicopters and nearby military vehicles, intensifying tensions across the Gaza Strip.
