Four people were killed and several others injured in a cross-border shooting along the Afghan-Pakistani frontier on Friday night, local authorities in Afghanistan’s Spin Boldak district told AFP.

Taliban authorities in Afghanistan and the Pakistani government each blamed the other for the “unjustified” attack, coming about two months after the deadliest cross-border clashes in decades. Unconfirmed reports suggest there were also injuries on both sides of the border.
