Israel’s external intelligence agency, the Mossad, called on Iranian protesters to intensify their demonstrations, stating that it is “with them on the ground,” according to a statement published in Persian.

The call comes as protests have spread to at least ten universities across Iran over rising living costs and deteriorating economic conditions.

The statement coincided with U.S. and Israeli threats against Iran, amid warnings of external attempts to exploit growing public discontent.
