The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) expressed strong condemnation on Thursday over the inclusion of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in the “Peace Council” announced by U.S. President Donald Trump, which invited around 60 countries to join.

In an official statement, Hamas described the move as a “serious indicator that contradicts the principles of justice and accountability, especially given that Netanyahu is wanted by the International Criminal Court over allegations of war crimes.”
