Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova warned that the deployment of British forces to Ukraine could lead to a broader military confrontation.

Her remarks came in response to British Defense Secretary John Healey, who said the United Kingdom would be prepared to send troops after the war ends.

Moscow stated it would consider any foreign forces on Ukrainian soil as “legitimate targets,” in a further escalation of diplomatic tensions.
