Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Defense announced that the U.S. Embassy in Riyadh was targeted by two drones, causing a limited fire and minor material damage without injuries.

The kingdom condemned the Iranian attack, stating that it contravenes international norms and agreements guaranteeing the protection of diplomatic missions.

Riyadh stressed its right to take all necessary measures to safeguard its security and interests, warning that further attacks would push the region toward greater escalation.
