Saudi Arabia and Kuwait were targeted by missile and drone attacks early Wednesday, while Bahrain activated air raid sirens, as Iranian strikes continue on the 26th day of the war.
Saudi Arabia’s Defense Ministry said it intercepted and destroyed 31 drones in the eastern region, along with a ballistic missile heading toward the same area by 04:35 GMT.
In Kuwait, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation said drones struck a fuel tank at Kuwait International Airport, causing a fire but no casualties, according to initial reports.
The Kuwaiti National Guard also reported shooting down one drone and five additional UAVs within its operational areas, while the Kuwaiti Armed Forces later confirmed intercepting hostile missiles and drones.
The attacks reflect a rapidly escalating regional conflict, with strikes increasingly affecting multiple countries across the Middle East.
