Iran’s Foreign Ministry denied statements by U.S. President Donald Trump claiming that Tehran had requested a ceasefire, asserting that such claims lack credibility.

It also stressed its refusal to engage in negotiations with Washington or reopen the Strait of Hormuz under current escalation conditions.

Iranian officials further reiterated their rejection of external pressure and vowed to respond to attacks, as military confrontation with the United States and Israel continues.
