Iran Launches Three Missile Attacks on Israel, Challenges Trump’s Claims

Iran launched three missile attacks on Israel early Thursday, including one carried out shortly after U.S. President Donald Trump claimed that Iran’s missile program had been destroyed.

In response, Iran’s state television said: “Our missiles reach the port of Haifa minutes after Trump claimed to have ended Iran’s missile program.”

Earlier, in a televised address, Trump asserted that the United States had inflicted a “total defeat” on Iran, stating that the country is now “militarily and economically devastated in every aspect.”

He also vowed to continue strikes against Iran “over the next two to three weeks,” claiming that key strategic objectives of the war are “close to being achieved.”

The developments come amid ongoing escalation since February 28, when the United States and Israel launched military operations against Iran, resulting in thousands of casualties.

In response, Tehran has been firing missiles and drones toward Israel, as well as targeting what it describes as U.S. interests and sites in several Arab countries.

Some of these attacks have caused casualties and damage to civilian infrastructure, drawing condemnation from the affected countries.
