Dutch police announced on Saturday, April 4, 2026, that an explosion occurred at the entrance of a pro-Israel center in the city of Nijkerk in central Netherlands, causing limited material damage without any reported injuries.
A police spokesperson told AFP that the facility, operated by the organization “Christians for Israel,” was empty at the time of the blast, which took place at its entrance on Friday night. Authorities confirmed that investigations are ongoing to determine the circumstances of the incident.
The explosion comes amid a series of similar attacks targeting Jewish sites in the Netherlands and other European countries in recent weeks, against the backdrop of escalating tensions linked to the U.S.-Israeli war on Iran.
