Iran Announces Death of IRGC Intelligence Chief in U.S.-Israeli Strike

Iran announced on Monday the death of Majid Khadami, head of intelligence for the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), in a strike attributed to the United States and Israel.

In a statement, the IRGC said Khadami was killed in the early hours of Monday during the attack, without providing further details on the location or circumstances.

The statement praised Khadami’s contributions, highlighting his nearly five decades of service within the Revolutionary Guard.

It added that details regarding his funeral arrangements will be announced at a later time.

The development comes amid the ongoing war launched on February 28, with the United States and Israel carrying out strikes on Iran, resulting in thousands of casualties, including prominent figures.
