Six people, including two paramedics, were killed and others wounded in Israeli airstrikes and artillery shelling targeting several towns in southern Lebanon, marking new violations of the truce in place since April.

The Israeli military also warned residents of Deir al-Zahrani, Jarjouh, and Sujod to evacuate.

Israeli forces have continued daily air raids and demolitions in border villages despite the extension of the ceasefire until May 17, triggering large-scale displacement and worsening humanitarian conditions in southern Lebanon.
