The President of the Central African Republic, Faustin-Archange Touadera, arrived in the Russian capital Moscow on Wednesday morning for an official visit where he is expected to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
According to the ‘Novosti’ agency, the Central African president arrived early on Wednesday morning and was greeted at the airport by Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov and the Central African Republic’s ambassador to Moscow, Leon Dodono-Bonagaza.
The visit was announced a few days ago, according to the African leader’s spokesman, who said he expected to meet President Putin during a visit that will last until 17 January.
