Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan received on Wednesday at the presidential palace in Ankara the head of the Transitional National Unity Government  in Libya, Abdulhamid  Debiba, who is currently on a visit to Turkey aimed at ‘strengthening bilateral cooperation between Libya and Turkey in various fields’.

The official ‘Our Government’ platform said on its Facebook page that the meeting discussed ‘regional and international developments and ways to enhance economic and trade relations between the two countries, as well as cooperation in the security and military fields.

Accompanying Dbeibeh on his visit to Turkey is Minister of State for Communication and Political Affairs Walid al-Lafi, who took part in discussions on strengthening communication channels between the two countries within the framework of effective diplomacy, according to Our Government.
