14 people killed and 84 others injured by rains and floods in Sudan

The technical room for autumn emergencies at the Ministry of Health in Sudan’s Northern State has announced that 14 people have been killed and 84 others injured as a result of the rains and torrential rains that have swept through the state.

On Thursday, 8 August, large parts of the northern state were hit by heavy and moderate rains and torrential rains, causing the collapse of thousands of houses, killing people and injuring others, while it is difficult to count the damage caused by the rains and torrents, especially in Halfa and Dalgu in the north, due to torrential rains, water and partial interruption of communication and internet networks.
