The Detainee Exchange Process Between Hamas and Israel Begins on the First Day of Ceasefire

Israeli media reported on Sunday that the process of transferring the three Israeli female detainees held by Hamas to the Red Cross has begun.
A spokesperson from the International Committee of the Red Cross told Reuters that the organization’s team is on its way to receive the detainees, specifically in the Zaytoun area near the Netzarim axis.
For its part, Hamas confirmed that it will release the three detainees in exchange for 30 Palestinian prisoners for each hostage, noting that the Palestinian detainees to be released from Damon Prison have arrived at Ofer, west of Ramallah, in preparation for the swap.
