Ukraine Requests More Air Defense Systems to Counter Russian Strikes

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky called on the West to supply Ukraine with more Patriot air defense systems after over 1,000 Russian airstrikes last week. Zelensky explained that these attacks resulted in numerous casualties, while Ukrainian air defenses downed dozens of missiles and drones.
Meanwhile, Russian forces announced their control of two more villages in the Donetsk region of eastern Ukraine. Additionally, the number of Russian military casualties has risen to approximately 818,000 since the start of the war.
Regarding internal security, Ukrainian authorities reported measures against collaborators with Russia, including arrests of individuals involved in financing the war or spying for Russia.
