President-elect Donald Trump will be sworn in as the 47th President of the United States of America at noon today (Monday) in the Rotunda before invited national and international dignitaries and members of the Trump family.

Preparations for the official inauguration will include a rare event not seen in Congress for 40 years, since President Ronald Reagan’s inauguration, as the ceremony will be moved from outside to inside the Capitol due to severe frost.

Trump has vowed to move with unprecedented speed, issuing a series of executive orders in his first days. He said he would make decisive and swift executive decisions to solve the problems facing the country.
