The UK launches the largest artificial intelligence project in Europe with a cost of $4 billion

The UK has approved the construction of the largest cloud computing and artificial intelligence center in Europe, with an investment of nearly $4 billion. This is part of British Prime Minister Keir Starmer’s plan to develop advanced infrastructure for artificial intelligence.
The center will be built in Culham, Oxfordshire, covering an area of two million square feet, with an estimated cost of £3.75 billion. It will serve tech giants like Google and Amazon.
The center aims to meet the growing demand for artificial intelligence, and is expected to generate significant economic benefits, including £21.4 million annually in business profits, as well as the creation of over 700 direct jobs and 13,000 indirect jobs.
This project will help position the UK as a global hub for artificial intelligence, reflecting the British government’s commitment to acting quickly in the global race to develop this technology.
