Israel abruptly suspended the release of 110 Palestinian prisoners on Thursday, minutes after announcing that it had received three Israeli prisoners and five Thai workers.
This is in violation of the Gaza ceasefire agreement and despite the Palestinian resistance’s commitment to release three Israeli prisoners as the third instalment of the Gaza ceasefire agreement.
Omar Dostri, spokesman for the Israeli Prime Minister, said in a post on the ‘X’ platform: Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defence Minister Yisrael Katz have issued instructions to postpone the prisoner release scheduled for today until the safe exit of our hostages is guaranteed in the coming days.
The Israeli announcement came immediately after the Israeli army said it had received 3 Israeli prisoners and 5 Thai workers.
