Upon the arrival of two buses carrying the released prisoners to Ramallah on Thursday evening, the Israeli occupation forces prevented Palestinians from welcoming the freed prisoners in the village of Beitunia in the West Bank by firing tear gas extensively, resulting in violent clashes.

The Israeli occupation confirmed the release of 110 Palestinian prisoners from its detention centers, including 32 sentenced to life imprisonment, with 18 of them being exiled, in addition to 48 detainees serving varying sentences and 30 minor detainees, as part of the first phase of the swap deal between Hamas and the Israeli occupation.
