The Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement confirmed on Saturday that it is engaged in intense battles with the Israeli occupation army in the Eastern Axis in Jenin, West Bank.

The movement stated that its fighters were confronting the occupation forces with heavy bursts of gunfire, resulting in confirmed casualties.

It also reported that the battles have continued for the twelfth consecutive day, as the Israeli occupation army continues its operations in the city and its refugee camp, leading to the martyrdom of 19 individuals and the injury and arrest of dozens.
