Foreign ministers from five Arab countries met in Cairo on Saturday, where they affirmed their rejection of the “displacement” of Palestinians from their land or the “encouragement of their transfer.”
In their final statement, the foreign ministers from Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the UAE, and Jordan emphasized the necessity of not infringing upon the rights of Palestinians through settlement activities, expulsion, or the demolition of homes.
They also expressed their hope to work with President Donald Trump’s administration to achieve a “just and comprehensive peace” under the two-state solution.
The meeting also addressed developments in the Palestinian file and the situation in the Gaza Strip.
