Fifteen people were killed and 15 others injured in a car bomb explosion in the city of Manbij, east of Aleppo in Northern Syria, the Syrian Civil Defence reported on Monday.
Manbij has been the scene of heavy fighting between the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and armed groups since the fall of President Bashar al-Assad last December.
The Observatory said the dead were from the National Army factions, adding that the explosion took place near a military post belonging to the factions on al-Rabita Street in Manbij city, adding that the death toll was likely to rise due to serious injuries among the wounded.
