Iran Closes Airspace for Six Hours; Iraq Suspends Flights Amid Reports of U.S.-Israeli Strikes

Iran’s state news agency said on Saturday that Iranian airspace would be closed for six hours, with flight operations to resume afterward.

The move came as a U.S. official said the United States was carrying out joint strikes with Israel against Iran, adding that the air attacks were aimed at dismantling Iran’s security apparatus.

Iraq also announced the suspension of air traffic, without providing further details on the duration of the measure.

There was no immediate comment from Tehran on the nature or scale of the reported strikes, and Israel has not formally confirmed its participation.
