The Egyptian Al Ahly settled for a goalless draw with American Inter Miami in the opening match of the expanded Club World Cup in the United States.

Mahmoud Hassan “Trezeguet” missed a penalty, while goalkeepers Mohamed El Shenawy and Nick Marsman excelled.

Both teams earned their first point in Group A, which also includes Portuguese Porto and Brazilian Palmeiras.
