Sudanese army chief General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan on Thursday, marking the 100th anniversary of the Armed Forces, vowed to continue fighting the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), rejecting any form of “truce or reconciliation.”

His remarks come as fighting rages across the country, while the United States intensifies diplomatic efforts to end the war and deliver humanitarian aid. The United Nations has described the conflict in Sudan as “the world’s worst humanitarian crisis.”
