Algeria announced the start of procedures to terminate the air transport services agreement signed with the United Arab Emirates in 2013, according to a statement by state radio.

The decision covers overflight, landing rights, flight operations, and the transport of passengers, cargo, and mail.

Algeria stated that the Emirati side has been officially notified through diplomatic channels and the International Civil Aviation Organization, without disclosing the direct reasons for the move.
