Italian driver Andrea Kimi Antonelli of Mercedes claimed victory at the Japanese Grand Prix, marking his second consecutive win in the Formula 1 World Championship.
The 19-year-old outpaced Australia’s Oscar Piastri, while Charles Leclerc finished third.
Despite a difficult start, Antonelli managed to regain the lead thanks to well-timed pit stops and a safety car intervention.
With this win, he extended his lead in the overall standings to 72 points, becoming the youngest championship leader in Formula 1 history.
