Israeli occupation forces have targeted several areas in the Gaza Strip since dawn, resulting in the deaths of approximately 60 people, including aid seekers.

Gaza hospitals reported 16 fatalities and 139 injuries due to the ongoing shelling in the northern part of the Strip.

The spokesperson for the UN Secretary-General emphasized the need to hold those responsible for these violations accountable, despite the difficulties in enforcement.

He stressed the protection of journalists and the need to allow access for foreign media, holding the occupation fully responsible for targeting journalists.
