At least 15 people have died and 19 others were injured over the past three days in Vietnam due to heavy rainfall and landslides, authorities said on Wednesday.

Vietnam’s Department of Dams and Disaster Prevention reported that six people died in central Vietnam on Monday when a bus became trapped in a landslide and was buried under soil and large rocks. On Tuesday, a truck driver was swept away by floodwaters while attempting to cross a submerged dam.

Rescue teams continue to search for potential additional victims in affected areas as authorities warned of more heavy rains in the coming days.
