The White House plans to hold the first leaders’ meeting of a so-called “Peace Council” on Gaza on Feb. 19, Axios reported on Thursday, citing people familiar with the plans.

Axios said the meeting would also serve as a fundraising conference for the reconstruction of Gaza, adding that the plans are still at an early stage and could change.

The White House and the U.S. State Department did not immediately respond to requests for comment, the report said.
