Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi held a phone call discussing the ongoing war involving Iran, the United States, and Israel.

According to Azerbaijan’s Foreign Ministry, both sides expressed concern over rising regional tensions and emphasized the importance of intensifying diplomatic efforts to end the conflict as soon as possible.

The two ministers also exchanged views on bilateral relations and broader regional issues.

The talks come amid a continuing war since February 28 that has resulted in hundreds of casualties and escalating tensions across the region.
