The spotlight will be on Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris on Monday evening as football fans worldwide await the 2025 Ballon d’Or ceremony, one of the sport’s most prestigious annual events organized by France Football.
The awards will honor the world’s best player alongside other individual accolades. Paris Saint-Germain star Ousmane Dembélé tops the list of favorites for the Ballon d’Or, according to French media, closely followed by Barcelona’s rising talent Lamine Yamal.
Arab players are also in the spotlight this year, with Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah and PSG and Morocco full-back Achraf Hakimi among the leading contenders after standout seasons.
