Barcelona, the reigning La Liga champion, announced today the signing of Swedish winger Roony Bardghji on a four-year contract until 2029, arriving from Danish club FC Copenhagen.
In an official statement, the club highlighted Bardghji’s skills, speed, and strong scoring ability, noting that his presence on the right flank is expected to add dynamism and penetration to Barcelona’s attacking line.
Bardghji joined Copenhagen’s academy in the summer of 2020, after starting his youth career at Malmö FF in Sweden. His quick rise through the ranks earned him a promotion to the first team in 2022. Since then, he has played 84 matches, scoring 15 goals and providing 1 assist.
During his time with Copenhagen, Bardghji won three Danish league titles and two Danish Cups, playing a decisive role in the club’s recent successes.
