Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko announced on Friday that his country has reached five-year gas agreements with Russia during talks in Minsk with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Speaking to reporters, Lukashenko said, according to the state news agency BelTA, “We discussed the international and regional situation, and ultimately addressed bilateral relations and oil and gas issues. We have serious agreements on oil with no problems. Regarding gas, we reached practical agreements for five years, not just one year.”
