The Confederation of African Football (CAF) announced on Friday that it has extended the media accreditation period for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco until Monday, October 20, following a surge in global requests.
CAF stated on its official website that the unprecedented interest from journalists worldwide necessitated the extension to meet the high demand.
The organization highlighted that additional resources and a new staff team have been deployed to assist media representatives facing difficulties with accreditation applications or accessing CAF’s media channels.
Furthermore, CAF has established a dedicated Media Planning Office based in Rabat at the main media center, which has already started operations at CAF’s headquarters in the city.
