Cairo is preparing to host a new round of negotiations involving delegations from the Israeli occupation, the Hamas resistance movement, and U.S. officials to discuss the first phase of former President Donald Trump’s proposed plan to end the war on Gaza.
The meeting follows Hamas’s reported agreement to hand over administration of the Strip to a technocratic government in exchange for the release of Palestinian prisoners.
Meanwhile, Israeli occupation forces continue military operations despite Washington’s announcement of a “temporary halt to airstrikes,” which has left dozens of martyrs and hundreds wounded since dawn.
