The number of Cambodian civilian deaths in border clashes with Thailand has risen to 17, with 77 injured and 438,000 displaced (two-thirds women and children), according to Cambodia’s Interior Ministry.

Clashes have continued since December 7 despite a prior ceasefire, causing infrastructure damage along the 817-km border.
