Canada carried out its first airdrop of humanitarian aid over the Gaza Strip using a C-130J Hercules aircraft, dropping more than 9.7 tons of supplies.
In an official statement, the Canadian government accused the occupation of “obstructing humanitarian aid,” considering it a violation of international law, and asserted that such obstruction “must stop immediately.”
This comes after Ottawa announced its intention to recognize the State of Palestine at the United Nations next September, amid escalating famine crises in Gaza.
