Canada announced on Wednesday that it has begun a formal evaluation of its relations with the Israeli occupation, describing recent Israeli airstrikes on Doha as “unacceptable.”

Foreign Minister Anita Anand stated that the attack constitutes “a violation of Qatari airspace” at a time when Doha is seeking peace.

Anand indicated that her country is working to complete steps for official recognition of the State of Palestine, expecting the decision to be announced during this month’s United Nations General Assembly session.
