Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning said on Monday that China will work with other countries to implement the outcomes of the 30th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP30) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change.
Mao added that the political package agreed upon at the Belém conference is positive and balanced, providing guarantees for the implementation of United Nations agreements and the Paris Accord in the coming years, and reflecting the commitment of all parties to work together to address climate change.
She emphasized that China is committed to contributing to the creation of a clean and sustainable world by enhancing international cooperation in areas such as emission reduction and adaptation to the impacts of climate change.
