China’s International Trade Representative, Li Xingang, will visit the United States this week leading a high-level delegation to hold discussions with American officials aimed at strengthening bilateral economic cooperation.

Spokeswoman for China’s Ministry of Commerce, He Yongqian, told AFP that “China intends to continue working with the United States through the China-U.S. Economic and Trade Consultation mechanism, resolving existing issues through dialogue and mutual consultation, and jointly maintaining stable, healthy, and sustainable growth in economic and trade relations between the two countries.”
