Field sources reported on Thursday that clashes continue in several areas across Sudan’s Kordofan and Darfur regions, while 10,000 people have fled the city of El Fasher seeking safety.

A Sudanese security source told Al Jazeera that they shelled Rapid Support Forces (RSF) positions in the city of Nyala in South Darfur, western Sudan, late last night.

The source added that the shelling targeted an ammunition depot in Nyala, as well as other locations where RSF troops were deployed.
