In a statement, Andalusia’s regional emergency center said the accident, which occurred overnight between Sunday and Monday, also left 41 people injured and currently receiving hospital treatment, including 12 in intensive care units.

The statement added that emergency services provided first aid to 122 people at the scene, among them five children.
