The independent Iranian human rights news agency “HRANA” reported on Saturday that the death toll from protests sweeping the country for nearly two weeks has risen to 65.
According to HRANA, which is based in the United States, the demonstrations, now in their 13th day, have spread across all 31 provinces of Iran.
The report stated that the fatalities include 50 protesters, seven of whom are under 18 years old, in addition to 15 members of the security forces.
